This is the Southern California Plein Air Painters Winter Juried Show.
There is no fee, but you must be a member in good standing.
You can only enter one image, it can be of any size, shape or color. The medium must be some type of paint on some type of ground such as linen, canvas, panel or board. It must be flat. It must have been painted this year, it must be your work, it must have been done by you without instructor or superviser instruction. Common passer-by's giving their unqualified opinion is OK.
The subject is open, but try to use your imagination in incorporating a "Winter" theme in your painting.
The judges are those who have won a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any of our shows over the past two years.
Comments are encouraged by our judges but not required.
Winners will be announced at the annual Christmas Party held at Randy Higbee's gallery in Costa Mesa.
Prizes include a really super nice gold frame by Randy Higbee and several $25 gift certificates to Art Supply Warehouse and San Clemente Art Supply.
