DESCRIPTION
|
This is a call to artists who are members of OMA Artist Alliance to submit entries for Renewal, an exhibition to take place at the Front Porch Gallery.
Submissions will be accepted exclusively through OnlineJuriedShows.com (OJS).
Artwork will be juried by Julie Weaverling. Julie serves as Director of Front Porch Gallery, a nonprofit gallery in Carlsbad, CA where she oversees operations including curating exhibits, working with region-based artists groups, other non-profits and therapeutic programs to promote the gallery’s belief that Art Creates Community. Julie also creates innovative arts programming and projects for residents of Front Porch retirement communities throughout California. One consistent theme of the gallery is to create an understanding of aging through art and a belief that art should be inclusive rather than exclusive is an ongoing motivation. Additionally, Julie acts as juror for exhibitions both for the gallery and outside organizations.
