Modern Impressionist Magazine is a bi-monthly print magazine, featuring Modern Impressionist artists and their stories. The magazine is beautifully designed, written and curated to highlight and showcase the masters of this modern movement back to impressionism. Through incredible artwork, riveting articles and step-by-step demonstrations, we hope to capture the essence of the modern impressionist movement and bring it to the pages of every issue. The March/April issue, out now, features Lori Putnam, Tony D’amico and Dmitri Voiyazoglou. Join us in celebrating this inspiring movement!

Contest Dates

The Modern Impressionist Salon contest will be held this month between March 15th, 2024 to April 15th, 2024. 

Judge

The contest will be judged by award winning artist Haidee-Jo Summers

ACCEPTANCE INTO EXHIBIT AND SELECTION OF AWARDS                  

Acceptance of artwork and designation of awards for this exhibit will be made by Haidee-Jo Summers purely upon the digital images submitted during entry.

Awards

First Place:             $800 cash prize, a feature in Salon Winners section of Modern Impressionist Magazine, Social Media Ribbon and promotion on Social Media 

Second Place:         $200 cash prize, a feature in Salon Winners section of Modern Impressionist Magazine, Social Media Ribbon and promotion on Social Media

Third Place:            $100 cash prize, a feature in Salon Winners section of Modern Impressionist Magazine, Social Media Ribbon and Promotion on Social Media

3 honorable mentions will also be selected

The top 20 pieces will be determined in addition to the award winners, and will be displayed in the Published Shows section of OnlineJuriedShows.

Eligibility

This contest is open to all 2d artists internationally.

Accepted Medium

Accepting all 2d paintings in any medium.

FORMAT FOR DIGITAL IMAGES (jpegs) AND HOW TO SEND THEM

All entries must be submitted in digital JPEG format and under 4 mb. For best results, image files should be 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi or higher.

ENTRY FEES

$35 for your first entry, and $20 for each additional entry, up to 15 total entries. Entry fees are non-refundable.

NOTIFICATION

Award winners and the top 20 works will be announced on our social media.
