MBPAPA Signature Member Show

Eligibility:
Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association (MBPAPA) members who hold "signature member" status and who have paid their 2017 dues. For further information, please see our website - www.mbpapa.org
Theme:
The exhibit theme will be “Small Town Flavor." We are trying to get a bit of variety into our usual landscapes and seascapes. Think Pacific Grove, Monterey or other small towns when you are looking for inspiration.
Paintings requirements:
• Paintings are to be completed primarily en plein air.
• They may not have been exhibited prior in a MBPAPA show
• All paintings will be delivered to the show framed and ready to hang including hanging wire.
• The painting dimensions cannot be larger than 11x14 unframed.
Please note: In addition to the usual information on the back of your painting, each piece should have a removable label on the Front of each work with title, price, medium and name of artist. These “stickies” will be removed once the wall labels are up.
Sales:
PG Art Center will receive a 40% commission of sales price on all pieces sold.
Fees:
$35 for up to three entries. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
Image Submission:
This is a juried exhibit. Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 digital images to OnlineJuriedShows.com for the jury selection process. For further information and to pay the $35 jury fee go to OnlineJuriedShows.com, scroll down to the MBPAPA Signature Show, Small Town Flavor Exhibit listing and click on it, LOG IN, and then click “Yes! I want to enter this show. Click to Continue.”
Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. Juror:
The juror and judge for this exhibit is the accomplished and well known area artist and Carmel gallery owner Jeff Daniel Smith.
Calendar:
Digital image submission and fees paid OnlineJuriedShows.com - no later than midnight October 9th, 2017.
Notification of Acceptance - October 20th, 2017
Deliver accepted and framed work to the PG Art Center October 28th, 2017 between 12-4pm.
Exhibit – November 3rd to December 14th, 2017.
Opening reception: All MBPAPA members, guests and the public are invited to an opening reception be held November 3rd, 2017 from 7-9 pm at the PG Art Center, 568 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove, CA 93950.
Pick up Paintings – December 15th, 2017 12-4pm

NOTIFICATIONS ARE SENT THROUGH CONSTANT CONTACT.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
On the day of notification you can do the following, but you will also receive an email notification, sent from Constant Contact, that will state the same.
1. Go to OnlineJuriedShows.com and log in using your email address and password.
2. Right above where you just logged in, click "Your Artist Profile." You are now in Your account!
3. Click the show name and you will see your first image. The jury results will be under the thumbnail view.
4. As you will see, it will say either "This Image has been Accepted or Declined in to the show." Under that sentence, you can click "Read Acceptance (or Declined) Letter." The letter will then be displayed below.
5. If you submitted more than one piece in the show, go to the next entered piece in the show by clicking the page number, displayed below the thumbnail image.
NOTE: Please be sure to read your letters in their entirety. Most acceptance letters will ask you to RSVP or will have special instructions you must follow.
