2018 Online Membership Show
DRY PASTELS ONLY
DEADLINE: March 4, 2018 (11:59 p.m. PST)
There will be $2,650 in awards, including a Best of Show Award of $750 in each category.
Exhibition Details:
This online membership show is so exciting because you can enter your best work without the expense of framing and shipping. Plus, General members can earn one point toward Signature Status by receiving a place award. Accepted artists will be showcased on our website: http://www.pswc.ws/, as well as on www.OnlineJuriedShows.com reaching over 40,000 viewers. The Award winners’ paintings will be shown on our Facebook page and an E-blast will announce the Award winners to all members. There will be a higher probability of acceptance because we will not have the accepted number limitations of a gallery show.
Judging:
This online show for members only has 2 categories for judging. General members will be judged separately from the Signature/DP members.
We will have Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Award of Merit for each category. Award of Merit is not considered a place award.
Eligibility:
OPEN TO ALL CURRENT MEMBERS OVER THE AGE OF 18 years old. ARTIST'S MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR 2018 MUST BE PAID BY THE DEADLINE – MARCH 4, 2018, IN ORDER FOR ENTRIES TO BE JUDGED. It's easy to become a member by going to http://www.pswc.ws/ and clicking on Membership Info at the top of the home page.
DRY PASTELS ONLY - 80% of the piece entered must be dry pastel, composition of work may not be taken from published work, no use of optical projection, and no student work produced under supervision is eligible. PAINTING MUST BE DONE WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS. Work may not have been accepted in any previous PSWC exhibit.

Awards:
2 Best of Show Awards, one in each category General Members -- Signature/DP members
2 First Place Awards, one in each category General Members -- Signature/DP members
2 Second Place Awards, one in each category General Members -- Signature/DP members
2 Third Place Awards, one in each category General Members -- Signature/DP members
2 Awards of merit, one in each category General Members -- Signature/DP members
Awards are about 40% cash prizes and the rest are items and gift certificates.
Fees:
3 images for $30 and $10 for each additional entry with a limit of 5 total entries. You can pay online with a valid credit card or by PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account just a valid credit card). Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
A maximum of 1 painting per artist will be accepted into the exhibit.
JURY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Over-payment of any fee will be considered a donation to our scholarship fund and will not be returned.
Signature Status:
Signature status is awarded for acceptance into 3 Pastels USA Exhibits, or 2 Pastels USA's and l Place Award (Best of Show, 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place) in the Membership Show.
Entering Your Images:
Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. Sales: Paintings do not need to be for sale to be entered in the show.

ALL ACCEPTED WORKS WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE PSWC WEBSITE: http://www.pswc.ws/ AND ON www.OnlineJuriedShows.com, PSWC Facebook page and PSWC e-blast.
Failure to meet any of the requirements for eligibility will result in the work not being juried. Work that is considered offensive by PSWC standards will not be accepted.

REGARDING JURY NOTIFICATIONS: Notifications are sent through ConstantContact from Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com. To ensure receipt of this notification, please add Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com to your contact list, or safe senders’ list.
On the day of notification, you can do the following, but you will also receive an email notification, sent from ConstantContact, that will state the same.
1. Go to OnlineJuriedShows.com and log in using your email address and password.
2. Right above where you just logged in, click "Your Artist Profile." You are now in Your account!
3. Click the show name and you will see your first image. The jury results will be under the thumbnail view.
4. As you will see, it will say either "This Image has been Accepted or Declined in to the show." Under that sentence, you can click "Read Acceptance (or Declined) Letter." The letter will then be displayed below.
5. If you submitted more than one piece in the show, go to the next entered piece in the show by clicking the page number, displayed below the thumbnail image.
6. While you are in your account on OnlineJuriedShows.com, click "Personal Info" and make sure your name, address, phone number, and email address are up-to-date.
NOTE: Please be sure to read your letters in their entirety. Most acceptance letters will ask you to RSVP or will have special instructions you must follow.
