The exhibit closes on Sunday September 2nd at 3:00pm

 

Imago Foundation for the Arts’ Exhibition Committee invites emerging regional artists to submit their work for an exhibition at the IMAGO Gallery in the summer of 2018. This is an opportunity for young artists to gain visibility.  The selected work will be displayed along side Imago member artists’ artwork in a group exhibit.

 

The deadline for online submissions is 11:59 p.m. PST, Sunday, May 27th, 2018.

 

Entering Your Images:

•   Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.

•   List sizes up to the nearest inch. 

•   Submitted images must not include matting or frame. 

•   Crop the photos to include only the artwork. 

•    Be sure your images are right-side-up.

•   Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. 

•   Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.

The entry fee is $20 for up to four (4) images.  Each additional image is $10 per image. All entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.

Acceptance is not guaranteed. There are no additional expenses.

 

Jurying Process: All submissions will be reviewed by IFA’s Exhibition Committee. All choices determined by the Committee are final.

 

Eligibility:

•   All work must be hand delivered. NO artwork will be accepted or returned by shipping.

•   Artists are expected to participate in an artist talk or presentation.

•   All work will be juried using the online images submitted by artists.

•   All work must be original.

•   All work must be for sale. IFA takes a 25% commission on all sales.

•   Artists must be at least 18 years old, but 30 years of age or younger.

•   Work must have been completed in the last 3 years.

•   All work must be properly framed (with wire) and ready for display. Works that are not ready for display will not be accepted.

•   All work must be ready to install including any special instructions.

•   Artwork can weigh no more than 40 pounds and must fit through an average door.

•   Work received must be accurately represented by images submitted online.

•   Artists are responsible for insuring their own work if they choose.

 

Notification of the Committee’s selection will be sent to all participating artists in the first week of June.

 

Accepted artist(s) must hand deliver artwork on July 20th, 21st or 22nd during regular gallery hours.

            - Thursday 4-8pm

            - Friday and Saturday noon – 8pm

            - Sunday 11am- 3pm
