First Place Award Winner 2017

After many years as a fashion illustrator and designer, Jeri took time off to

raise a family while working from home as a textile and graphic designer.

Having time to devote herself to painting again and finding a love of pastels

has led to a new and interesting next act. Pastels are an immediate tool to

express feelings, and a perfect vehicle in which to “Make the Ordinary,

Extraordinary” and tell stories in paintings.

Jeri teaches weekly classes in the NY/NJ area and does demos and

workshops in many states, as well as jurying pastel shows.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

·         This Exhibition is open to all PPSCC members.

·         80% of the exposed surface must be dry pastel. No oil pastels.

·         There is no artwork size limitation.

·         Must be entirely the work of the artist and not copied from other artists’

·         work, photos or publications.

·         Must not have been created under supervision (as in a workshop or

·         class).

·         Works that have been exhibited in any previous PPSCC shows are not

·         eligible for entry.

·         If the work is not for sale, check “NFS” on the entry form.

ENTRY FEES

$30 for up to three images

$10 each for additional entries for a total of 6 entries allowed per artist.

ENTRY PROCESS

·         Online entry using Online Juried Shows

·         Go to www.onlinejuriedshows.com and sign in or register a user account.

·         Up to 6 images may be submitted.

·         No file-naming restrictions. Juror will not see the file name.

·         JPEGs must not show mat, frame, etc., and must be an accurate representation of the artwork.

·         Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.

·         List sizes up to the nearest inch.

·         Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side up.

·         Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, RGB color space. PAYMENT

The ENTRY FEE is paid via PayPal/Credit card to Online Juried Shows upon submission.

No checks accepted. All entry fees are nonrefundable and must be paid by the entry

deadline.

SALES

·         Prices may not be changed after submission is completed and after due date.

·         The artist’s email will be listed with each entry, and the artist will be entirely responsible for any sales.

·         No commissions will be charged.

·         As a condition of entry to the PPSCC Members Only Online Show, the submitting artist agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein including granting permission to the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod and Online Juried Shows to reproduce the accepted paintings on their websites and for advertising and promotional purposes only.
