For best results, make sure your image is 1920 pixels @72 dpi on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.

Eligibility:
» All work must have a return shipping address in the continental USA
» The artist must be 18 years of age or older.
» All work must be original.
» Work created under instruction or supervision is not eligible.
» Work must have been completed within the last 3 years.
» Work should not have been previously exhibited at IMAGO gallery.
» All work must be received ready to install. If work requires specific hanging device or armature, these must be included with clear installation instructions.
» Work must fit through an average doorway and weigh no more than 20lbs.
» IFA Board and Directors are not eligible.
» If the gallery determines that the work received does not represent the images submitted, the gallery has the right not to display the work.
Fees:
Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 works.
Juror
Andrew Stein Raftery is a printmaker specializing in narrative scenes of contemporary American life. Trained in painting and printmaking at Boston University and Yale, he has focused on burin engraving for the past 12 years, publishing the portfolios Suit Shopping in 2002 and Open House in 2008. Both projects were exhibited at Mary Ryan Gallery in New York and were collected by the Whitney Museum of American Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Boston and the British Museum. In 2003 Raftery received the Louis Comfort Tiffany Award, and in 2008 he was a fellow of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. He was elected to membership in the National Academy in 2009. Art historical research is closely aligned with Raftery’s studio practice. In his position as professor of printmaking at Rhode Island School of Design, he often collaborates with the RISD Museum on exhibitions and educational programs, recently as consulting curator for The Brilliant Line: The Journey of the Early Modern Engraver, fall 2009 at the RISD Museum and at the Block Museum at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He is a recipient of RISD’s John R. Frazier Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Exhibition Details:
Imago Foundation for the Arts is a non» profit organization serving artists and the community through visual art programs, literary events and other arts» related initiatives. The organization’s goal is to make the arts a visible and active part of our communities.
Sales:
» IFA retains a 40% commission on all sales. The gallery handles all sales with the commissions on sales used to support future art programming.
Awards / Cash awards will be presented and are determined at the Juror’s discretion.
Exhibition Calendar:
1. Open date immediately.
2. Closing date for submissions is midnight September 20, 2015.
3. Notifications to artists sent out by October 12.
4. Delivery of work accepted to exhibit – All work must be either hand delivered, shipped by UPS or mail with US Postal service only.
Hand Delivery of work:
All work that is hand delivered directly to the gallery must be dropped off on:
Friday November 13 or Saturday, November 14 from noon» 8pm.

Shipped artwork:
» All shipped work must have a return address in the continental USA.
» All work must arrive between the dates of Thursday, November 5 and Saturday, November 14, 2015.
» Your work must be hand delivered, shipped by UPS, or mailed with the US» postal Service.
**Do not ship your artwork with Fedex.
» All framed work must use Plexiglas, NO glass.
» No popcorn packaging please!
5. Please put your prepaid return shipping label in with your artwork. The artist must provide a prepaid return shipping label so that unsold work can be returned at the end of the exhibit. If you do not provide a prepaid return label your work will not be returned. It is a good idea to purchase insurance for your work with shipping.
6. Artist Reception November 20, 6 - 8pm
7. In person pickup of artwork, three dates:
» Thursday, December 10 from 4 - 8pm
» Friday, December 11 Noon - 8pm
» Saturday, December 12 from Noon – 8pm
8. Shipped work will be returned the week of December 7
