This is an International Exhibition.
You do not have to be a member of the Pastel Society of North Carolina to enter.
This Exhibition is for soft pastels only.
No oil pastels will be accepted.

Lyn Asselta
Is a widely recognized pastel artist, a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA), a Master Circle recipient of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), and a member of the Salmagundi Club.  She is the founder of the First Coast Pastel Society (FL), a Member of Excellence of the Southeastern Pastel Society, and is also a member of the American Artists Professional League, and the Eastern League of Professional Artists. In 2009, Lyn had the honor of being an Artist in Residence for the National Park Service in Acadia National Park in Maine.  Her work was recently featured in the February 2016 issue of Pastel Journal and her painting, “Blue Morning, Crescent Beach," appeared on the cover.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
•    This Exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 working in the soft pastel medium.
•    80% of the exposed surface must be dry pastel.  No oil pastels.
•    There is no size limitation.
•    Must be entirely the work of the artist and not copied from other artists’ work, photos or publications.
•    Must have been completed within the last 5 years.
•    May not be glazed works with a finished surface of matte acrylic, resin, or solvent varnish.
•    If the work is not for sale, check “NFS” on the entry form.

ENTRY FEES
MEMBER PRICING:  $30 for up to three images and $10 for each additional entry for members of the Pastel Society of North Carolina.  A total of 6 images may be entered. (Please make certain that your membership dues are up to date.)
NON-MEMBER PRICING: 
$40 for up to 3 images and $10 for each additional entry for non-members. A total of 6 images may be entered.
NON-MEMBER BECOMING A MEMBER: 
$40 plus $30 for up to three images and $10 for each additional entry.

Up to 2 images per artist may be accepted.

Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.  Acceptance is not guaranteed.

ENTRY PROCESS
•    Online entry using Online Juried Shows.
•    Go to www.onlinejuriedshows.com and sign in or register a user account.
•    Up to 6 images may be submitted – up to 2 paintings may be accepted to show per artist.
•    No file-naming restrictions.  Juror will not see the file name.
•    Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.  List sizes up to the nearest inch.  Submitted images must not include matting or frame.  Crop the photos to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.
•    Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi.  Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.  Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:  www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx.  If you need help entering your images or are unable to, please write to us here:  https://onlinejuriedshows.com/Contact.aspx
•    Please add Services@OnlineJuriedShows.com and Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com to your safe senders list to ensure notifications are received.

PAYMENT
The ENTRY FEE is paid via PayPal/Credit Card to Online Juried Shows upon submission.  No checks accepted.  

SALES
•    Prices may not be changed after submission is completed and after due date.
•    The artist’s email will be listed with each accepted entry and the artist will be entirely responsible for any sales.
•    No commissions will be charged.

As a condition of entry to the Pure Color Online International Exhibition, the submitting artist agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein including granting permission to the Pastel Society of North Carolina and Online Juried Shows to reproduce the accepted paintings on their websites, for advertising and promotional purposes only.  No images will be used or published for any other use than that listed by the organizations.
