FUTURE EXHIBITIONSAfter last year’s event we held a series of exhibits of unsold work and paintings that were not entered in the exhibition but were painted plein air during the event.  We sold nearly as many paintings in these subsequent exhibitions as in the original show.  The same terms of sale will apply.  We expect to show the work in 3-5 venues AFTER the show.  This helps the artist, the promotion of plein air painting, and our event.  We DO NOT ANNOUNCE there will be any further shows prior to our event as we want the buyers to step up and buy during the exhibit.

PUBLICITY:  This event is sponsored by the Northbrook Arts Commission.  We make a great effort to advertise and promote the event throughout our community and beyond.  We recognize that a great plein air event requires bringing people out to watch the artists and to view and purchase work.  Last year’s event received great public and press attention including articles in numerous local publications and live FOX NEWS coverage on the final day.

LIABILITY:
Regardless of cause, the artist agrees to bear all risk and expense for any loss, theft or damage to their artwork or other personal property or injury to their person.  The artist agrees to be responsible for insuring their artwork, all necessary shipping, and to abide by all rules set the Northbrook Arts Commission.
