QUALIFICATIONS

All current California Art Club Monterey, San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Central Coast Chapter Members.

SUBJECT MATTER

We are looking for paintings that depict scenes from California's beloved gem, Point Lobos, and the adjacent region (Carmel through Garrapata State Park)! This exhibition will showcase the best of Point Lobos and its surrounding area. Please submit works that celebrate the beauty of these treasured California areas. Paintings done en plein air are encouraged and larger studio pieces are also welcome.

NOTE: Paintings must by 16" x 20" or smaller.

MEDIUM & DIMENSIONS

Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic

COMMISSION

60% Artist; 20% CVA; 20% CAC

DEADLINE

Thursday, August 30, 2018

HOW TO APPLY

Submit all artwork through Online Juried Shows for Point Lobos and Beyond. There is no limit for the amount of entries.

ENTRY FEE

Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows. The first image you submit is $35, and each additional image is $10.

NOTIFICATIONS

Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or about Friday, September 7, 2018.

Saturday, October 13, 2018; 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

PREPARING PAINTINGS

All paintings must be wired for hanging. Please label the back of paintings with your name, title of the artwork, medium, dimensions and price.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Out-of-town shipments MUST arrive between during October 9-12, 2018.

Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition. More shipping instructions will be provided with acceptance.
