QUALIFICATIONS
|
Open to all current members of the Sierra/Sacramento Chapter of the California Art Club.

SUBJECT MATTER
|
We are looking for 2 and 3-D artwork that says SPRING. The Vernal Equinox sets an explosion in motion — the fog lifts and the rains do their magic, creating verdant fields, tiny new leaves appear on trees and vineyards, then the swollen buds burst forth as blossoms and flowers carpet the landscape and fill our cultured beds with profuse color.Spring at last!
NOTE: Paintings must be 16" x 20" (canvas size) or smaller. Sculpture must have a base no larger than 7 feet squared and no smaller than 8 inches squared.

MEDIUM & DIMENSIONS
|
Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic. Sculpture must be of permanent material such as bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, or wood.

COMMISSION
|
60% Artist; 20% Fe Gallery; 20% CAC
|

|

HOW TO APPLY
|
Submit all artwork through Online Juried Shows for Spring Awakening. There is a limit of 5 entries.
|
|
ENTRY FEE
|
Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows. The first two images you submit are $35, and each additional image is $10.
|
|
NOTIFICATIONS
|
Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or about Friday, March 1, 2019.
|
|
ARTWORK DROP-OFF
|
April 1 – April 10, 2019; Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. –
4:00 p.m.; Saturday, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.; closed Sundays.

PREPARING PAINTINGS
|
All paintings must be wired for hanging. Please label the back of paintings with your name, title of the artwork, medium, dimensions and price.
|
|
SHIPPING INFORMATION
|
Out-of-town shipments MUST arrive between during April 1 - 10, 2019.
Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition. More shipping instructions will be provided with acceptance.
