Sonoran Plein Air Painters (SPAP) and Rillito Park Foundation are sponsoring an exciting opportunity for plein air painters to paint at various locations at Rillito Regional Park during horse racing season. It is open to SPAP members and also to nonmembers. The theme and show will be for artists to paint on site during the month of February (Jan. 27th-Feb. 26th) depicting some of the local color events on location, farmers’ market, horse racing overall view with Catalina Mountains in backdrop.
Paint Out Locations
SPAP will send out weekly paintout schedule (and post on our website) that takes advantage of events happening on location, farmers market Sundays, horse racing events, the Jelk’s Historic home (in restoration), however, participants can paint at their leisure during February.

Format
You may enter 3 plein air paintings, and only 2 could be accepted. There are no size restrictions. It will be Juried/Judged. Sales will be an 80/20 split, 80% to artist and 20% to SPAP.
Entry Fees
You may enter 3 pieces and 2 will be juried in. Entrée fees are $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers; we encourage you to join SPAP www.sonoranpleinairpainters.com/membership-join-or-renew/.
Requirements
? All entries must be 2 Dimensional, framed plein air paintings in oils, acrylic, water media, or pastel.
? All plein air works must have been completed on the Rillito Park Racetrack grounds in plein air.
? Please prepare art with wire on back to be hung on hooks.
? SPAP reserves the right to reject any artwork not deemed ready to hang.
Entering Your Images
Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, RGB color space. Sales
80/20 split with artists receiving the 80%, and %20 back to SPAP. For sales, the artist will arrange for the transaction with the buyer. You will be contacted by the buyer because your contact phone number will be on the gallery tags that SPAP prepares. The show will also be available online with artwork for sale to a global audience on www.dailybrushwork.com.

Notifications are sent through ConstantContact from Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com. On the day of notification, you can do the following, but you will also receive an email notification, sent from ConstantContact, that will state the same.

2. Right above where you just logged in, click "Your Artist Profile." You are now in Your account!
3. Click the show name and you will see your first image. The jury results will be under the thumbnail view.
4. As you will see, it will say either "This Image has been Accepted or Declined in to the show." Under that sentence, you can click "Read Acceptance (or Declined) Letter." The letter will then be displayed below.
5. If you submitted more than one piece in the show, go to the next entered piece in the show by clicking the page number, displayed below the thumbnail image.
6. While you are in your account on OnlineJuriedShows.com, click "Personal Info" and make sure your name, address, phone number, and email address are up-to-date. NOTE: Please be sure to read your letters in their entirety. Most acceptance letters will ask you to RSVP or will have special instructions you must follow.
