QUALIFICATIONS

Open to active Artists, Out-of-State Artists, Mentor Program or

Signature Artist Members of the California Art Club.

SUBJECT

We are looking for artwork that captures the beauty of summer from anywhere in the states. From coast to coast, mountains to seascapes, quaint towns and bustling cities, give us your best! This will be the first installment in our “Painting the American Landscape” series. The second installment will be the exhibition Autumn Impressions: Painting the American Landscape, held at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton, CA from August 17 – October 13. Help us to start this series off strong with Summer Impressions!

MEDIUM

Oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic

COMMISSION

60% Artist; 20% Old Mill; 20% CAC

All artwork MUST be for sale.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Upload artwork through Online Juried Shows to submit artwork for Summer Impressions: Painting the American Landscape.

There is no limit to the number of pieces you can submit to the exhibition. There are no entry fees for this exhibition.

NOTIFICATIONS

Artists will be notified via email on or around Friday, April 19.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF

Monday, May 20, 2019; 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

*If artists cannot drop-off accepted artwork in person during the designated date and time, artwork must be shipped.

OUT-OF-TOWN SHIPPING

Must arrive before Friday, May 17, 2019.

Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via Box & Ship in Pasadena, CA. Box & Ship will charge a $40.00 handling fee. Further shipping information will be provided upon acceptance.
