SHOW PROSPECTUS
EXHIBITION TITLE: 2020 Annual “Town & Country” Landscape Show
EXHIBITION DATES: January 13 – January 27, 2020
LOCATION: LPAPA in Residence at Forest & Ocean Gallery
480 Ocean Ave., Laguna Beach, CA 92651
Gallery Hours: Tues – Fri & Sun 11am – 5pm; Sat 9am – 6pm;
Closed Mondays (except for scheduled delivery & pick up dates)
QUALIFICATIONS: Open to all LPAPA Signature, Artist & Student Members in good standing
SUBJECT MATTER: We are looking for paintings that capture the natural as well as the built or urban landscapes: a field of green, a cityscape, an industrial site, alley, coastal scene. You are welcome to submit your best works that represent the show’s theme for jury consideration.
DEADLINE: Monday, December 9, 2019 (no later than 11:59 pm)
ART ELIGIBILITY: Plein air and studio work accepted, all painting mediums
Entries must not violate copyright laws
Entries must be original and executed within the last year
Maximum unframed size not to exceed 42 united inches
(United Inches = Length + Width)
Minimum unframed size not to be less than 12 united inches
(United Inches = Length + Width)
All work must be wired and ready to exhibit
Framing subject to LPAPA’s approval
COMMISSION: 50% to Artist, 40% to LPAPA, 10% to Gallery
All artwork must be for sale
HOW TO APPLY: Submit jpeg images for review via www.onlinejuriedshows.com
You may submit up to a maximum of 6 images
ENTRY FEE: Payment through OnlineJuriedShows (entry fees are nonrefundable)
You may submit up to 2 images for $35
Each additional image up to 6 is $5
NOTIFICATIONS: Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or around Friday, December 13, 2019, subject to jurying completion
ARTWORK DROP-OFF: Monday, January 13, 2020: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at

SHIPPING INFORMATION: Out-of-town shipments MUST arrive by Friday, January 10, 2020
Artist is responsible for shipping charges to and from exhibit
A prepaid return label or charge authorization must be included

Please Note: LPAPA does not have the ability to store artwork after the show has closed; if an artist is not able to pick up during the scheduled time, or does not provide prepaid return shipping, alternative arrangements (for pick up or shipping) may be made by the artist with LPAPA (not the Gallery). If after 2 weeks of a show closing, the artist has not provided payment for return shipping or picked up their work, the unclaimed artwork will become the property of LPAPA.
DETAILS: Although the utmost care will be taken in handling artwork, neither LPAPA, Forest & Ocean Gallery or its representatives will be responsible for damage or loss from any cause. Insurance, if desired, is the responsibility of the artist
