This is an exhibition for current Northwest Pastel Society Signature members only.
Entry fee is $25 for up to 2 images. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
This is a non-juried show. NPS signature members, who enter, will have at least one and up to 2 paintings accepted to hang in the Scott Milo Gallery. All paintings entered will be on the onlinejuriedshows published show. Early bird entries received by May 22 will be considered as possible images for the Scott Milo Gallery show advertising postcard.
Awards: First, second, third place, and two honorable mention awards to be determined by judging of Northwest Pastel Society general membership.
Eligibility
• Artists must be current signature members of the Northwest Pastel Society.
• All work must be original in concept and executed by the artist in the pastel medium within the last two years.
• Work exhibited in previous NPS exhibits is not eligible.
• No instructor-assisted (hands-on) work is eligible.
• Mixed media pieces must be 80% predominately pure pigment (soft) pastel.
• Work must be originally drawn, not from digital projection or created on top of a base photo/print.
Please make sure your work is properly labeled with show labels, indicating the artist name, title, price using show labels. Paintings should be boxed appropriately for safe delivery.
Submission of entries
Enter digital images online at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Signature member artists may submit up to 2 paintings for this exhibition.
• Images should be 72 dpi, 1920 pixels on the longest side of the image. List sizes to the nearest inch.

Please add Services@onlinejuriedshows.com and Manager@onlinejuriedshows.com to your safe senders list to ensure that notifications are received.
Sizes: Minimum artwork size 9X12 to maximum of 18X24 (not including frame). All work must be framed and ready to hang with strong tight wire and flat metal D ring type hangers. Work should arrive at the gallery in good condition, with no pastel dust on the mat or glass.
Sales
All work must be for sale and realistically priced. A 50% commission will be taken by the Scott Milo Gallery.
Delivery of work
Hand carried work: Tuesday, June 30, 2020 between 11am-2pm. Work may be hand carried to the Scott Milo Gallery, 420 Commercial Ave, Anacortes, WA.
Delivery and pick up teams will be organized to hand carry work to the gallery. Packaging will be kept by delivery teams to re-use for the show pick up.
Shipped work: Work may be shipped to show co-chair, Donna Nevitt-Radke, 15243 Deception Rd, Anacortes, WA 98221. Work must arrive by Wednesday, June 26.
- One picture per box using a durable, reusable box such as Strongbox by Airfloat Systems (www.airfloatsys.com) or similar box.
- A return address label
- Affix a show identification label to the back of your painting
- Shipping arrangements/payments must be made via one of the following methods (no checks or COD payments):
1. Prepaid shipping label (UPS or FedEx)
2. Your shipping carrier account number
3. Credit card: provide card number and expiration date
(No shipping through Phoenix Art Restoration for this show).
Liability
• All reasonable care will be taken with paintings and submissions. NPS, its officers, volunteers, and the Scott Milo Gallery shall not be held responsible for the loss and damage to paintings, frames, or digital entries.
• NPS suggests that participants carry separate insurance.
• The artist grants permission to reproduce work for publicity purposes, both in print and digital galleries. Copyright will be attributed to the artist. Entry into this exhibition constitutes agreement with all conditions set forth in this prospectus and Entry Form, and is your commitment to participate.
Your entry form is a legal and binding contract to deliver artwork that has been juried into the show. If, after being juried in, an entrant chooses not to deliver artwork, he or she may not enter an NPS show for a period of two years.
This year’s signature show will occur during the Anacortes Art Festival July 31- August 2. There are opportunities to demo each of those days from 11-2. There are also demo opportunities Saturdays during July on the 11th, 18, 25. Email Karen O’Brien kkobrien83@gmail.com if you are interested.
