QUALIFICATIONS

SUBJECT MATTER

All current members of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Monterey Chapters of the California Art Club.

We invite members from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Monterey Chapters of the California Art Club to submit renderings of rural and urban landscapes. The inclusion of figures in such scenes is permitted. In recent weeks, how have you reimagined our world? How do you interpret the future? Keeping in mind our current situation, we encourage artists to interpret the theme of “Our World Reimagined” however seems fit. 

Share your view on our world reimagined in our current time or your future views of our world as reflected in figures, landscape with figures, or just landscape!

MEDIUM & DIMENSIONS

Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic

COMMISSION

65% Artist; 35% CAC

DEADLINE

Tuesday, June 16, 2020

HOW TO APPLY

Submit all artwork through Online Juried Shows for Our World Reimagined. There is a limit of 2 entries.

ENTRY FEE

Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows. For $35, you may submit up to 2 images.

NOTIFICATIONS

Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or around Monday, June 22, 2020.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF /PICK-UP

This exhibition is entirely virtual, so there is no need to deliver your work to any location.

PREPARING PAINTINGS

Please label the back of paintings with your name, title of the artwork, medium, dimensions and price.

SHIPPING and SALES

If a work sells, the artist will assume shipping costs. The CAC will handle the sale of the artwork, itself, and any associated tax.

ARTISTS' AWARDS

First Place: $500

Second Place: $250

Third Place: $125

Honorable Mention: $50

The recipients of these awards will be notified by email on or around July 1^st (opening day) and their placements will be noted alongside their featured works in the virtual gallery.
