EXHIBITION TITLE:
15th Annual Less Is More
EXHIBITION DATES:
July 5 - 11, 2021
LOCATION:
If at all possible, we will present a physical show at our LPAPA in Residence located at Forest & Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach, however if current COVID 19 Restrictions are in place this event will be presented as a virtual show via 32 Auctions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Open to all LPAPA members in good standing, Signature Members, Artists Members and Student Members
SUBJECT MATTER:
Open to all subjects
You are welcome to submit your best works that are the best representation of the show’s theme (Less is More/small works).
DEADLINE:
Monday, June 7, 2021 (by 11:59 pm)
ART ELIGIBILITY:
Plein air and studio work accepted, all painting mediums
Entries must not violate copyright laws. Entries must be original and executed within the last year
Maximum unframed size not to exceed 21 united inches (United Inches = Length + Width)
Minimum unframed size not to be less than 12 united inches (United Inches = Length + Width)
**In the event this show is presented as a virtual show: ALL WORK WILL BE OFFERED UNFRAMED AND KEPT BY THE ARTIST UNTIL SOLD AT WHICH TIME ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE TO HAVE WORK SHIPPED
** If a physical show is presented - All work must be wired and ready to exhibit. Art drop-off, pick up and shipping dates to be announced upon notification of physical show. Shipping to and from show will be the artists responsibility
COMMISSION:
50% to Artist, 50% to LPAPA
All artwork Must be for sale
HOW TO APPLY:
Submit jpeg images for review via www.onlinejuriedshows.com You may submit up to a maximum of 6 images
ENTRY FEE:
Payment through onlinejuriedshows. You may submit up to 2 images for $35. Each additional image up to 6 is $5.
NOTIFICATIONS:
Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or around Friday, June 11, 2021
ART DROPOFF & PICKUP:
In event of physical show details will be sent regarding drop-off, pickup and shipping information
ARTISTS’ RECEPTION: (Physical or Virtual TBD)
Thursday, July 8, 2021 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Awards Presentation – 5:30 pm
AWARDS:
1st Place $500.
2nd Place $250.
3rd Place $125.
Honorable Mention $75.
