Open to all artists, SVAN invites submissions of 2D work that represent our greatest natural resource, our water, in any of its iterations.

Entries due May 11, 2021 by 7:59 PM EST, notifications June 1.
Art Drop off June 8-11, 11am-3pm & June 12, by apt. only.

SVAN WILL BE PRESENTING THE BEST IN SHOW AWARD, TWO HONORABLE MENTION AWARDS TO THE WORKS SELECTED BY OUR JUROR. IN ADDITION TO A PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD. BEST IN SHOW WILL RECEIVE A SOLO EXHIBIT IN THE GALLERY AND $50. THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE WINNER WILL RECEIVE $20 AND A YEAR’S MEMBERSHIP TO SVAN. THE HONORABLE MENTION WINNERS WILL RECEIVE $20.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Works should not exceed 24" in any direction including frame and 20 lbs maximum weight. Accepted works must remain for the duration of the show. SVAN reserves the right to refuse entry to works with unusual installation requirements or otherwise judged unsuitable. No substitutions or extractions will be allowed once work is selected. Only original 2D works not previously shown at SVAN and created in the last 5 years will be eligible. Accepted entries may be used with attribution by SVAN or related third parties in show publicity only.
HOW TO ENTER
All entries will be accepted as jpgs through our online portal at www.onlinejuriedshows.com
SUBMISSION
Non-member Artists may submit 3 pieces for an entry fee of $25, SVAN members may submit 3 pieces for $20.
DELIVERY AND PICKUP OF WORK
Shipped works must be in reusable containers and must be accompanied by return shipping fees. Identification labels must be affixed to the back of the work with tape or another removable method, and each piece should also have a permanent identification on the back with the artist’s name and title of the piece. Work not retrieved by October 1, 2021 at 5:00 pm will become the property of SVAN.
SALES COMMISSION
The sale price on your entries should include the 20% commission. Works may be NFS.
INSURANCE
The artist is responsible for insurance on his/her artwork. SVAN will exercise reasonable care in the hanging/displaying artwork.
JURYING AND NOTIFICATION
Entries will be juried through the OnlineJuriedShows.com online portal. No email submissions will be accepted. Entrants will be notified via email, No phone calls, please. For questions, contact librarygallery@svanarts.org.
