2021 GREATEST HITS ONLINE SHOW

Welcome member Artists in the Ventura County, California area!  This is an unique opportunity for members of the participating art organizations listed below to showcase your best work in an online show published on the Online Juried Show website. We invite you to submit up to three of your all-time best pieces.  All media is eligible and entries will be judged together with awards to be chosen in a “Jury of Your Peers” process by the participating artists. This show is only open to active members of the Thousand Oaks Art Association, Westlake Village Art Guild, Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley Art Association, and Buenaventura Art Association. 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Entries Open:  Tuesday, June 1

Entries Close:  Sunday, June 27

Show Opens:  Thursday, July 1

Peer Voting for Awards Close:  Wednesday, July 7

Awards Notification: Saturday, July 10

Show Closes for sales:  Tuesday, August 31  

AWARDS:

First Place:  $300

Second Place:  $200

Third Place:  $100 

Fourth Place:  $50

Fifth Place:  $35

JUDGING:  

This show will be judged by the participating artists in a “Jury of Your Peers” process.  Details will be provided to all artists after the entries close on June 27.

ENTRY FEES:

• $25 for up to 3 pieces. 
• Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
• Entry fee payment is via PayPal/credit card to Online Juried Shows upon submission.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Open to all active member Artists of the following organizations only:
• Thousand Oaks Art Association 
• Westlake Village Art Guild 
• Arts Council of the Conejo Valley
• Simi Valley Art Association
• Buenaventura Art Association.
• Artist’s original work only.  No copies or likenesses of another’s work including photographs, published works, or references not attributable to the artist are eligible.
• Work painted under the guidance of a teacher is not permitted.

SHOW ENTRY AND DIGITAL IMAGES:

• Enter online at:  www.OnlineJuriedShows.com (scroll down under “current shows” to Thousand Oaks Art Association).
• Submitted images must not include matting or framing.  Crop the images to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.
• Images should be smaller than 4MB, 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi, and saved as a JPEG.  
• Help in photographing your work, properly sizing the images, contact info, and other useful information can be found at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx or from the menu bar of the Online Juried Shows website.
• Add Services@OnlineJuriedShows.com and Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com to your safe senders list to ensure notifications are received.

SALES:

• TOAA will connect any potential buyer with the artist through August 31, 2021. 
• The artist is responsible to submit a commission of 20% of the sale price to TOAA.  
• TOAA accepts NO liability in the transaction of the sale.
