Our beautiful Carnegie library is renewed, restored and open again after a year, and what a year it has been. How has your work been defined by the events of the past 18 months? How has it grown or changed? Times of stress or trial can be incredibly creative times leading to new and exciting ways of seeing the world.
Eligibility
Original two and three-dimensional artwork in all media including but not limited to: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media, fiber, and paper art, woodworking, and sculpture. No 2D submissions larger than 900 sq. inches. Ink jet reproductions on canvas will not be accepted.
Entry Fees
$35 for up to three entries.

Exhibition Calendar 2021/2022
August 29, 2021 Deadline to submit entries
September 17, 2021 Notification of accepted entries
September 27- October 1, 2021 Shipped artwork must arrive at the library
October 2, 2021, 10AM- 2PM Drop off hand-delivered artwork
October 8, 2021, 5:30-7:30 Artists Opening reception
January 7, 2022, 5-7:30 PM Closing Reception
January 7, 2022 after 7:30PM and January 8, 2022, 10AM- 2PM Pickup hand delivered artwork
All artists are invited and encouraged to attend the opening and closing receptions.
Accepted Work
All two-dimensional work must be suitably framed and wired for hanging. PGPL will provide stands for sculpture.
The Friends of the Library will handle sales with a 30% commission for the Friends of the Library and 70% for the artist.
Shipping Instructions (accepted work only)
Include pre-paid shipping labels for return of your work plus $15 check made out to Friends of PG Library, for handling shipped art.
- Work must be packaged in a professional packing box.
- Pack work so that it can be easily re-packaged with the same materials.
- No Styrofoam peanuts.
- Work should be insured for its full value.
