The Proof is in the Printing!

The Randy Higbee Gallery, in conjunction with Side Arts is hosting the “The Proof in in the Printing” , an online Exhibition and Sale composed of hand created original prints created by traditional and contemporary methods of creating original prints.  Digital work is not accepted in this show.


This online exhibition and sale is open to all current email subscribers with and printmakers involved with the Randy Higbee Gallery and

This will be an exciting online exhibition and sale that will be displayed on our new website, This website displays exhibitions that have been curated through the website.


Entry fees will be $25.00 for up to 4 images with each additional image being $7.00.  Multiple images of the same print counts a one entry. This fee will include the cost of entering the website. All entries must be for sale and priced reasonably. If you have multiple prints available for sale of the same piece, you will have the opportunity to inform through the artist agreement.

Artists are invited to submit up to 10 entries  of unframed prints.  The price you list when entering on is the price that will be displayed when the show is uploaded to The minimum price of a signed original print is $35.

All artists are guaranteed at least 1 accepted entry, and a maximum of 6 entries will be accepted from any single artist to be displayed on the website for sale. This will be an online only show.   


The artist will receive an 70% commission. will take a 15% commission. will take a 15% commission  


Additional 15% Discount

The Randy Higbee Gallery will have the option to give an additional 15% discount to its base of art resellers, galleries, designers, artists purchasing from other artists and clients who make multiple retail purchases. This 15% discount is taken off the retail price and is shared by artist and the gallery. This discount has been a crucial marketing tool for getting our sales into the 150+ numbers.


Important!  All pieces are shipped unframed and freight free. You will specify if they are shipped flat or shipped in a tube (please specify in the "description" section of the entry form). All pricing must include freight free shipping to anywhere in the Continental United States. Please make sure you realistically calculate a shipping price and include it in the price of your artwork.

All pieces must be for sale (Exhibition and Sale!) and priced reasonably. Do not price your pieces too low. Do not price your pieces too high. We will not have anything exhibited under $35


Format and Media

This is an exhibition and sale of original prints on traditional media. All prints must be signed.  A signed and numbered edition posts as one entry. You can have multiple prints under that same entry. Again, if you have multiple prints available for sale of the same piece, you will have the opportunity to inform through the artist agreement.



Entry and Fee Application Waived


There is a $3.00 entry fee for each image. That is being waived by the Randy Higbee Gallery and


Prizes and Awards  

 A $500 cash award will be awarded for Best in Show.  There will be 5- $100 certificates for the website combined with 5-one-year membership to (a $75 value) as Randy Higbee Gallery / Side Arts Awards..  Award certificates must be used within 90 days of close of show.  Once again, your artwork will be posted for sale on the website where you will receive a 70% commission on all sales.


We will need a signed artist agreement returned to before your piece is displayed on the website. Artists will be emailed an artist agreement once the entry period ends to be returned prior to the show going live, and this is where you will indicate if you have multiple prints available for sale of your accepted images.

Shipping of Sold Artwork

This is an online show posted on the website. All pieces are shipped by the artist and to the collector unframed and freight free.  You should have your unframed art ready to ship within 7 days of you being notified of the sale. Your commission check (70%) will be sent to you within 10 days of close of exhibition, pending verification the collector has received purchased artwork.

Entry Opening Date: Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021


Entry Deadline: Thursday, October 28th, 11:59 pm PST. 2021


Notification of Acceptance: You will be notified of acceptance on Tuesday November 2nd. Opening Date:  The show will be posted on the website on. Saturday, November 6th. Closing Date:  The show will close on December 4th.
