Combine Art Collective in Walla Walla, WA, is inviting contemporary artists to submit your unique creations for our second annual juried exhibit.

December 9, 2022: Artist notification by email to check the results in their artist profiles
January 7, 2023: Accepted Art scheduled to arrive at gallery in person or shipment
January 13, 2023: Reception 5pm to 7pm

Juror: Judith Baumann
Bio:
Judith Baumann currently lives in Pendleton, Oregon where she is the master collaborative printer for Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts, a non-profit fine art print publisher located on the Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation. Judith received her MFA in Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University and her BFA from Alfred University NYSCC School of Art and Design. In 2015, she completed Tamarind Institute’s Professional Printer Training Program. She has taught printmaking and drawing at several institutions, most notably The Evergreen State College from 2005-2014 and Northern Arizona University from 2015-2017. She has lead numerous workshops all over the country, including The Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in Oregon, Washington State University in Vancouver, The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Her work has been shown nationally in group, juried and solo exhibitions and is held in public special collections across the country.
Eligibility and Requirements:
Artists (18 years or older) working in all visual art mediums are acceptable, except video and/or digital art
Sizes: 2D maximum size is limited to 30” x 30” including frame ready to hang
Minimum size accepted image size 8” x 10”(not including frame).
3 D work is limited to 50 lbs. and not larger than 30" x 30" x 30"
Artwork must be original, created in the last three years and solely the original work of individual artist. Works created in collaboration with another artist or in a class or workshop are not eligible to be submitted. 2D work must be appropriately framed in a contemporary fashion or be a work on a gallery - wrapped 2" canvas with the edges painted. Unframed canvases of less than 2" and not gallery wrapped are not eligible for exhibit. Works that do not meet these criteria will not be displayed, even if inadvertently accepted into the show.
All work, 2 and 3D, must have appropriate hanging material installed on the work. No sawtooth hangers or clamped glass is allowed.
All art must be available for sale, shown for the duration of the event, and subject to a sales commission of 40% to Combine Art Collective.
Accepted artwork and artists will be featured on Combine Art Collective’s website.
Entry Fees:
$30 for 3 submitted works
2 additional entries may be submitted for $10 each
A maximum of two pieces may be accepted per artist
Shipped artwork must contain a pre-paid shipping label in the originally shipped package of art. Shipping and delivery details will be provided to artists whose work is accepted into the event.
