Exhibition Dates:     December 3,4  2022    5-8 pm on the 3rd   and   10-4 on the 4th

Qualifications:          Open to all current members of SCAPE

                                Works must be for sale

                                Works must be from or looking at the geographic areas

                                of the UCSB Natural Reserve System SCAPE is hosting paint outs at some sites.

                                Members who are exhibiting in the show are expected to volunteer for a 2 Hr.

                                shift or make a donation of $40 and other members will do the work for you.

                                All Paintings must be original, not copied from other sources

                                such as publications, Instructor’s reference materials, in-class or workshops.

Photo references must be from the artist’s own photograph or with a written permission. Scape is posting some photos approved for painting reference on its facebook site for thoes that can’t get out to paint.

All art should be framed or finished on the edges in a professional manner

as determined by SCAPE at ingathering.

A Location (in the description on entry form) and brief artists statement ( entered your artist profile ) is to be included with each entry

Medium:                  Paintings in all mediums. 

                                Digital work, photography, painting on photography and 3D not accepted.

 

Dimensions             No larger than 60 in. on the largest side

 

Commission:            50% to artist, 35% to beneficiary, and 15% to SCAPE                                               

 

Entry Fee:                 Entry fee paid at time of submission at  Online Juried Shows

                                $25 for first entry and $10 each additional for up to 5 entries.

                                Entry fees are non-refundable.

 

Sales                       Sales will be handled by SCAPE Association ,Taxes will be collected

                                from the purchaser and the painting may be taken at the time of sale.

                               We are so  honored to have Camilla, a Founding Member of SCAPE

                               as the Juror of our 20th Anniversary Show a Celebration of art and Nature.

                               Camille grew up in Santa Barbara and has a very distinguished awards resume.

                               Camille inspires us with a sense of place in her pituresque Paintings of the

                               ever changing atmosphere in her landscapes and seascapes.

                          Established in 1965, the UC Natural Reserve System features 41  reserves and field stations, representing California’s  diverse ecological regions. This system provides an unparalleled

platform for research, education, and stewardship of nature with access to millions of acres of public land.  The seven reserves managed by UC Santa Barbara represent a wide variety of ecosystems and contribute to the understanding and wise stewardship of the Earth with active programs to support inspiring research, university education, and public outreach at their sites.
