2022 6” Squared Exhibition and Sale (Online)

The Randy Higbee Gallery is hosting the 2nd Annual 6” Squared Exhibition and Sale Online. You are entering the online only show. There is a separate prospectus for the 6x6 live show hosted at the Randy Higbee Gallery (Link: https://www.onlinejuriedshows.com/Default.aspx?OJSID=56482 Do not enter the same piece into both shows). All works in this show must be representational and created with traditional media (oil, watercolor, pastel, etc.). Artists are invited to submit up to 10 paintings measuring 6”x6” in size. This is not a miniature show. This is a 6x6 show. Please be sure there your collector does not need to trim your piece to fit into a 6x6 frame.
Last year we had 85 online sales. Online sales were higher than the live show sales at the Randy Higbee Gallery.
This will be an exciting online exhibition and sale that will be displayed on our OnlineGalleryShows.com. This website displays exhibitions that have been curated through the OnlineJuriedShows.com website.
Entry fees will be $8.00 per image. This fee will include the cost of entering the OnlineGalleryShows.com website. All entries must be for sale.
Artists are invited to submit up to 10 entries measuring 6x6.
All artists are guaranteed at least 1 accepted entry, and a maximum of 8 entries will be accepted from any artist to be displayed on the OnlineGalleryShows.com website.
Commission
OnlineGalleryShows.com will take a 15% commission. The Randy Higbee Gallery is is taking a 10% commission. The artist will receive an 75% commission. The gallery will have the option to give an additional 15% discount to its base of art resellers, artists purchasing from artists and clients who make multiple purchases. This 15% discount is taken off the retail price and is shared by artist and the gallery. This discount has been a crucial marketing tool for getting our sales into the 150+ numbers.
Pricing
Important! All pricing must include free shipping to anywhere in the Continental United States. All pieces for sale on the OnlineGalleryShows.com website include free shipping for the buyer, so please make sure you realistically calculate a shipping price and include it in the price of your artwork when it is entered online. Pieces are shipped unframed.
All pieces must be for sale (Exhibition and Sale!) and priced reasonably. Do not price your pieces too low. Do not price your pieces too high. We will not have anything exhibited under $150.
Format and Media
All works in this show must be representational and created with traditional media (oil, watercolor, pastel, etc.). Artists are invited to submit up to 10 paintings measuring 6”x6” in size. This is not a miniature show. This is a 6x6 show.
Entries must be under 4 mb and .jpg.

Entry and Fee Application
There is an $8 fee for each entry. You may enter up to 10 pieces.
Prizes and Awards
There will be a $1000 cash award for the “Best in Online Show" Award. There will be 20 $100 Randy Higbee Gallery Awards certificates for the kingofframe.com website. Award certificates must be used within 90 days of close of show.
Forms
We will need a signed contract (to be provided) returned to OnlineGalleryShows.com before your piece is displayed on the website. Notifications will be sent Monday, November 28th.
Shipping of Sold Artwork
This is an online show posted on the OnlineGalleryShows.com website. You should have your piece ready to ship within 7 days of you being notified of the sale. Your commission check (75%) will be sent to you within 10 days of close of exhibition, pending verification the collector has received purchased artwork.
Important Dates:
Entry Deadline: Saturday, Nov. 26th at 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time
Notification of Acceptance: You will be notified on Monday, November 28th.
Opening Date: Friday, December 2nd, 2022
Closing date: Friday, January 6th, 2023
