PROSPECTUS for Signature Membership Submission

 

TITLE:

2023 Call for LPAPA Signature Members

 

LPAPA Signature Members are professional artists established in their careers, and recognized for their ability and experience in the technique of painting on location. Signature Members are recognized members in the art community for their superior work.

·       Signature Members become eligible to submit work for review for inclusion in the LPAPA Gallery Signature Showcase

·       Signature Members are eligible for Signature Member of the Month gallery and website recognition

·       Signature Members are eligible for expanded Signature Member profile on LPAPA website

·       Signature Members are committed to LPAPA education programs, and eligible to participate in LPAPA Workshops, Mentor Sessions, Mentor Paint-Outs, Plein Talks, Painting Demonstration, Video or live-streamed lessons, and/or LPAPA tutorials

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Open to all professional plein air artists

 

SUBJECT MATTER:

Artwork online submission is open to all subject matter

 

DEADLINE:                  

Submit before 11:59 pm on Monday, June 12, 2023

 

ART ELIGIBILITY:                     

Submissions must not violate copyright laws

·       Must submit eight (8) images of plein air work and two (2) images of studio work, being sure to identify as plein air or studio

·       Must submit biography, curriculum vitae (upload to OnlineJuriedShows or email to info@lpapa.org). To enter on OnlineJuriedShows, click on Your Artist Profile, and then Bio/Statement/Password.

 

HOW TO APPLY:

Submit jpeg painting images for jury review via www.onlinejuriedshows.com. Image files must be under 4 mb. For help with your entries, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351

 

ENTRY FEE:

Payment through OnlineJuriedShows

Non-refundable entry fee:  Current LPAPA Members $45.  Non-Members $60.

 

NOTIFICATIONS:

Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or around Monday, June 26, 2023, after jurying is completed and tallied
