Cole Gallery invites you to apply for our juried invitational Edmonds & Beyond Plein Air Paint Out!
Painting Edmonds, Kingston and the Olympic National Park, artists will offer a range of subjects from small town cityscapes and marinas to mountains, rainforest, and ocean beaches. Accepted artists may paint between August 17th and 27th. Canvas/panel/paper will be stamped at gallery prior to painting. For the final show, art should be ready to hang at Cole Gallery with frames or painted canvas edges.

Submission Information:
To apply, please submit three examples of your plein air paintings for consideration of being invited to participate. These examples need not be available for sale and must have been completed in the past 18 months. We will use these submitted examples for jurying purposes. From these applications, we will select artists who will be invited to participate in our plein air paint out. We will notify selected artists by July 8th. Results will be available in your OnlineJuriedShows.com artist profile. Image files must be jpg and under 4 mb. For help with your entries, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351.

Exhibition Information:
Paintings created during the 11-day period are to be submitted via email from the artist to colegallery@gmail.com by 2pm on Sunday Aug 27th. One to four paintings will be selected from each artist from up to five paintings presented to the gallery by the artist completed during that 11-day period. Selected paintings will be consigned to Cole Gallery and available for purchase. Price to be determined by artists with a minimum price $300. 50%/50% artist/gallery split on sales. All sizes of art will be accepted.
Artists will be notified by email the following day, Aug 28th, of the paintings selected for display at Cole Gallery. Selected paintings will need to be dropped off by 10am on August 30th. Art will remain on display from Sep 1st through Oct 2nd.
Participating artists are invited to attend a gala reception on Saturday, Sep 2nd from 5 - 8 pm. We will also do a quick draw event in Edmonds earlier that day. Artwork will also be featured during the Third Thursday Art Walk, September 21st, 5 - 8 pm
