KLG’s 8th Annual Juried Show

Renewal is a driving force of life.

It is:

spring growth.

a new moon.

the act of beginning again.

replacing something that is worn out, run-down or broken.

the process of reinvention.

finding hope.

As a creator, how have you observed and experienced renewal? What kind of world does this look like? How do you express that sense of renewal that lies just beyond your door? We will find interest in anything from any time in your life, offered in any media you like.

Details:

RENEWAL will be a juried exhibition of 35-45 artworks to be shown at Kehler Liddell Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut 2024.

Exhibition Dates:  January 4, 2024 – February 4, 2024

·      Deadline to Submit: December 8th by midnight 

·      Cost: $30 jurying fee, for up to 3 images

·      Accepted Artists Notified: December 15th

·      Artwork Drop Off: December 30th, 2023 4pm-6pm or January 2nd, 2024 10am-12pm

·      Artwork Pick-Up: February 4th, 2024 4pm-6pm or February 5th, 2024 10am-12pm

·      The Jury: The artists at KLG (http://www.kehlerliddellgallery.com/artists).

·      Shipping: It is the artist’s responsibility to pay for shipping and packaging to ensure the safety of your artwork. Please use plexiglass in place of glass for framed artwork. Shipped artwork must arrive by Friday December 29th, 2023 to ensure its inclusion in the exhibit. You must include a return shipping label with your work, or it will not be returned. 

·      Commission Split: For all sales, the commission split is 60% (artists) / 40% (gallery). Commission checks will be cut and sent 2 weeks following the close of the exhibition. All work must be for sale.

·      Safeguarding Artworks: KLG does not supply artwork insurance. Artists exhibit works at their own risk, and are responsible for supplying their own insurance if desired.
We take the utmost care of all exhibited artworks and artwork is monitored throughout the exhibition.

·      Installation Requirements: If special equipment is needed to display your artwork (such as a video or audio component – please contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com before entering video or audio submissions for instructions), it is the artist’s responsibility to provide this equipment. KLG has a variety of dark metal pedestals for sculptural works. All artworks should arrive professionally presented and ready to hang.

·      Size Limitations: Submitted wall-hanging works should not exceed 52 inches wide and 90 inches tall.           

·      Applications WILL NOT be accepted after the application deadline. 

·      Jurying fees are non-refundable. 

·      Image files must be jpg and under 4 mb. For best results, image files should be at least 1920 pixels (min 800) on the longest side @ 72 dpi.
