Ti Arts Downtown Gallery’s Regional Juried Art Exhibition – Visions
Eligibility:
Open to any resident within 100 miles of 119 Montcalm St. Ticonderoga, NY. Artist must be able to deliver and pick up work.
Artwork Specifications:
· Artwork must be original, no reproductions
· Artwork must be for sale
· Must be suitably framed and wired for hanging (if Painting or photography)
· Must be completed in the last 3 years
· 2d Work must not exceed 20 pounds
· 3d work must not exceed 84 inches in dimension
Entry Procedures:
· All submissions must be completed on OnlineJuriedShows. Log in on this page and click Enter This Show to begin your submissions.
· Images must be jpg, under 4 mb, and in sRGB colorspace. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi. For help with your submissions, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351.
· Artists can submit up to 3 pieces. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $35 for the first entry and $5 each for the second and third entries.
· Acceptable work includes: Painting, drawing, printmaking, Mixed Media, Photography, Fabric Art, Digital Art and sculpture, ceramics and glass.
· Once the jurying process is completed, all artists will be emailed when the results are available in their artist profiles.
Dates to Remember:
· August 17 , 11:59 – Deadline for submissions
· September 1 – Jury results available in your artist profile
· September 13, 12PM or before deadline for delivery of work. The gallery is open Wednesday – Saturday 10AM – 4 PM and September 23, 10- 12PM
· September 24 - October 19 – Exhibit on view
· September 26 – 7PM Opening Reception and awards
· October 17/ 18 – Pick-up all work

Juror: John Hampshire
John Hampshire was born in Chicago in 1971. He is a professor of Fine Art at SUNY Adirondack, where he has taught for the past 19 years. Among other institutions, he has also taught for Oklahoma Arts Institute.
John’s work has been exhibited at such locations as The Show Walls at 1133 Avenue of the Americas in New York City, The Fine Art Gallery at the State College of Florida, The Hunter Gallery in Middleton, Rhode Island, The Brattleboro Museum, and the Project Room at the Phoenix Gallery in New York City.
Awards include 2011 NYFA Fellowship in Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts, SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creativity, and the Dr. Arthus C. Collins ’48 Purchase Award, University at Albany Alumni Association. John lives and maintains a studio in the former Church of the Holy Trinity in Troy, New York, and at Cornerstone Studios in New York City.
