Open to current and active juried Artists, Out-of-State Artists, Mentorship Program Artists, and Signature Artists of the California Art Club.
Please note: Associate Artists and non-members of the CAC are not eligible for consideration.

SUBJECT
|
A Rite of Passage: The American Road commemorates both the 175th anniversary of California statehood and the 250th anniversary of the United States by showcasingworks that evoke the textures, colors, and moods encountered along a cross-country drive.
This journey will invite viewers to reflect on how the open road celebrates the country’s diversity, its shared histories, and the fleeting, nostalgic moments found between destinations.

GUEST JUDGE

The guest judge for this exhibition is TBD, and will be announced at a later date.

MEDIUM AND DIMENSIONS
|
Oil, watercolor, pastel, gouache, or acrylic.
Due to limited capacity, we kindly request that unframed dimensions do not exceed 25 inches on its longest side. Only 35 works max will be selected.

COMMISSION
|
60% Artist; 20% Old Mill; 20% CAC
All artwork MUST be for sale.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION
|
Upload artwork through Online Juried Shows to submit artwork A Rite of Passage: The American Road Trip.
There is no entry limit to this submission. The entry fee is $30 for 1, with $8 per additional entry.
Images must be jpg and under 4 mb. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi. For help with your entries, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF
|
Monday, May 11, 2026; 10:00 am to 12: noon
*If artists cannot drop-off accepted artwork in person during the designated date and time, artwork must be shipped. Artwork that does not arrive on day of drop-off will forfeit acceptance.

OUT-OF-TOWN SHIPPING
|
Must arrive to Box and Ship between Friday, April 10 and Friday, May 9, 2026.
Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via Box & Ship in Pasadena, CA. Further shipping information will be provided upon acceptance.
