Shari Blaukopf, a Montreal-based painter, teacher, author and art blogger, is best known for her urban scenes in watercolor. She has a BFA from Concordia University with a specialization in graphic design, but her true love has always been watercolor painting. Her paintings are in corporate, government and private collections in Canada, the United States and abroad, and her work has been showcased in many books on urban sketching. She travels widely to paint and to share her distinctive approach in sold-out workshops devoted to sketching and painting en plein air. Shari's blog is https://shariblaukopf.com/

• Drop off art work: March 25, 2026 at Wood Art Gallery Contemporary Gallery, 2nd floor, 12:00 - 4:00 pm
• Opening reception and Montpelier Art Walk: April 3, 2026, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
• May 26th pick up art work 12:00 - 4:00 pm
Eligibility and Specifications
• Paintings are eligible for three monetary awards: Best in Show, Innovative, and Legacy.
• Members must be in good standing
• Acceptance into the show counts toward signature status with the VWS
• Artists may submit two pieces, only one may be selected
• Entry fee: $30. Entry fee is non-refundable
• Image files must be jpg and under 4 mb. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi.

• Artists are requested to provide a biography to be kept in a binder for quests. These can be brought with your paintings.
• Minimum size un-matted 9x12” and maximum size up to 30x30”
• Refer to VWS guidelines for framing under Member Resources on the VWS website
Sales
• All sales will be handled by the Wood Art Gallery who will retain a 30% commission
• Payment for sold work will be made within 30 days

• Shipping of art work cannot be accommodated thus hand delivery only
