Exhibition Dates Oct. 10- Nov. 6, 2026

Exhibition Title: Urban & Pop Art

Call for Artists: Urban Art & Pop Art Exhibition!

Bold. Iconic. Vibrant.

The Bee Cave Arts Foundation invites artists to submit work for our upcoming Urban Art & Pop Art Exhibition, celebrating contemporary creativity inspired by city life, popular culture, fashion, music, advertising, graphic design, comics, typography, and the imagery that shapes our everyday world.

Pop Art transforms the familiar into something unexpected—drawing inspiration from consumer culture, mass media, celebrities, nostalgia, and bold color palettes. Whether your work is playful, ironic, graphic, or thought-provoking, we encourage fresh interpretations of this enduring and influential style.

We're seeking original artwork in a variety of mediums that captures the energy, color, and visual impact of Urban and Pop Art. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work, connect with fellow artists, and share your creativity with our community.

Submit your work today and be part of an exhibition that celebrates bold ideas, contemporary culture, and artistic expression!

We are thrilled to welcome the incredible J Muzacz @jmuzacz as our juror and curator for this exciting exhibition!

J Muzacz is an innovative public artist with a keen eye for social dynamics. Committed to building positive relationships with clients and collaborators through compassionate communication, he brings a wide breadth of expertise across artistic processes. Originally from Houston and a University of Texas graduate in Sociology, Muzacz went on to live and work abroad, painting murals worldwide from Japan to New Zealand and beyond. Now based in Austin, Texas, Muzacz dedicates himself to community building through teaching, mentoring, and creating spaces for artists to uplift each other. Muzacz has created over a dozen large-scale mosaics and co-founded The Mosaic Workshop, an artist-run mosaic studio in East Austin. Throughout many projects, Muzacz invites community members and aspiring artists to participate in the public art process, most notably in his signature “digital impressionism” technique, allowing hundreds of people of all ages and abilities to help place glass tiles in monumental mosaic murals.
