Open to current and active CAC members in the following categories; Signature Artist Member, Artist Member, Sculptor, Out-of-State Artist, and Mentorship Program Member.
Associate Artist and Student Artist Members are not eligible for consideration.

Subject:
|
The Gold Medal Exhibition has a reputation for debuting the most recent work from our acclaimed artists, and we kindly request that artists submit works created in the last three years. Artwork submitted cannot have been displayed in any other exhibition or competition, CAC or otherwise. *
You may submit up to two “standard-size” works and one miniature for consideration, keeping in mind the CAC’s mission, which is to promote the best examples of traditional fine art while showcasing what makes your work unique.
Note: We request that sculptors submit three digital images from various angles of each entry.
All entries must be submitted through OnlineJuriedShows.com for consideration. Late submissions, or submissions made through alternate means, will not be considered by the jury panel.
*If it is discovered that accepted artwork does not adhere to the above criteria, the artwork will forfeit its acceptance into the displace.

Medium and Dimensions:
|
Paintings should be in traditional materials like oil, watercolor, pastel, gouache, acrylic, graphite or charcoal.
Size Limitations for 2D Works:
· Horizontal works cannot exceed 40 inches on its longest side.
· Vertical works cannot exceed 48 inches on its tallest side.
· Miniatures may not exceed 108 square inches. Ex: 9” x 12” or smaller is considered a miniature.
Sculptures must be of permanent material such as bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, resin, wood, etc.
Size Limitations for 3D Works:
· Miniature sculptures are 14 inches in any direction
All artworks must be original. No AI, or AI reference materials, giclées or digitally enhanced images will be accepted. If it is found that a work does not meet these requirements, the artwork will be disqualified from this display.

Requirements and Considerations
|
· We request that an artwork statement is included with your submission, 100 words max
· All artworks must be original and available for purchase
· No AI, or AI reference materials may be used
· No digital or digitally altered images will be accepted
· All paintings must be framed in museum-quality traditional frames. No gallery-wrapped paintings will be accepted upon delivery
· For miniature paintings, frames cannot exceed 2 inches in width, and matting cannot exceed 2-3 inches. CAC reserves the right to refuse artwork at time of delivery if these conditions are not met
· Submission fees are non-refundable

Commission:

60% Artist; 40% CAC
All artwork must be available for sale

Notifications:

The Submission Deadline is Wednesday, November 4, 2026 @ 11:59 pm PST
Artists will be notified through their OnlineJuriedShows artist profile on or around Monday, November 16, 2026.
Catalog materials are due by Friday, Nov. 20, 2026.* This includes;
· Artist Agreement
· Artwork statement, pertaining to the inspiration behind the artwork (100 words max)
· Hi-res images (300 dpi and 1MB minimum)
*Due to the tight turnaround on this exhibition, artworks missing these materials after the deadline will automatically be dropped from the exhibition.

Submission Information:

Upload all artwork through OnlineJuriedShows.com for consideration to exhibit in 116th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition
The entry fee is $95 for three submissions; (2) standard-size works, and (1) miniature. Submission fees are non-refundable.
Images must be jpg, under 4MB and in sRGB colorspace.

All out-of-town shipments can be sent directly to the Museum.
Shipments must arrive between January 18—January 22, 2027.
