Exhibition Details
OA Gallery in Kirkwood, Missouri, welcomes selected works by botanical artists who are ASBA members for a late spring exhibit of botanical art.
As an ASBA institutional member, OA Gallery is looking forward to introducing the finest botanical artwork not only to St. Louis and the surrounding area but also to its patrons and collectors of fine art.
OA Gallery will host a public reception June 3, 2016 from 6-9 pm for this outstanding exhibit.

Eligibility
Open to all ASBA members in good standing (dues paid), worldwide. Artists may renew membership or join ASBA prior to submitting work by visiting the ASBA website here: https://www.asba-art.org/membership. Work may have appeared in prior exhibitions.
Subject
Botanical specimens-works which depict a botanical subject with keen observation, scientific accuracy, and a sophisticated sense of aesthetics.
Media accepted
Two-dimensional original botanical art. No photography, no digitally generated work, and no three-dimensional work will be accepted.
Sales of Works
All work must be for sale. OA Gallery will receive a 35% commission for works sold during the exhibit. 20% of commissions to be donated to the ASBA.

Fee
$35 (Entries must be paid by the entry deadline.)
Maximum number artworks per entry: 3
Submissions (online only)
Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up. For best results, make sure your image is 1920 pixels @72 dpi on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. Notification
Artists invited to exhibit will be notified no later than May 3, 2016.
Presentation
Outside frame size limit of 40” either horizontal or vertical.
Framing Requirements
Artwork must be framed in simple wood exhibition framing with light neutral matting, preferably white. Plexiglass only. Wire hangers only. Full information will be provided to accepted artists.
Shipping
Details will be provided to accepted artists but all accepted pieces must be received by May 27, 2016. Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance to and from the exhibition.
Hanging Rights
OA Gallery reserve the right to refuse to hang work when received if framing is inadequate, the work is shipped in Styrofoam peanuts, or the quality of the artwork differs greatly from that represented by the submission materials.
Publicity and Catalog
If accepted, your images may be used in publicity for the exhibition.
Insurance
If accepted, artist insures that artwork will be available for display.
